About the Role
Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for building relationships and delivering results? Calor is looking for a Field Sales Executive to drive growth and customer retention across our Domestic and Commercial sectors.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and converting sales leads into signed contracts by understanding customer needs, presenting Calor’s value proposition, overcoming objections, and closing sales. You will also proactively retain existing customers by managing pricing and delivering an excellent customer experience.
Success in this role will depend on your ability to build a strong third-party network of influencers, identify new opportunities, and deliver against sales targets.
Key Responsibilities

Generate new business through field-based sales activity, progressing leads to successful contract signings.

Retain existing customers by presenting competitive, value-driven renewal propositions.

Understand and clearly articulate Calor’s product offerings, including technical solutions, to meet customer needs.

Present pricing structures and deal options in a compelling and transparent manner.

Conduct site surveys to ensure compliance with industry LPG siting standards and minimise failed installations.

Promote a strong customer-first approach by collecting and acting on customer feedback.

Build a network of specifiers and installer groups to generate third-party referrals.

Take ownership of health and safety by adhering to Calor’s Life-Saving Rules.

Manage time effectively, ensuring high-quality administration and customer service.
Key Skills & Experience Required

Proven track record in a professional sales environment, or educated to A-level standard (or equivalent).

Experience selling technical solutions aligned with customer requirements.

Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce (preferred).

Demonstrable success in consistently meeting or exceeding B2C and/or B2B sales targets.

Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

Strong negotiation skills and understanding of pricing impacts on customer profitability.

Commercially astute with a grasp of financial models and customer lifetime value.

Proactive, self-motivated, and focused on continuous improvement.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Full UK driving licence required.
