£39,000 – £47,000 (Dependent on experience)

We’re currently seeking a Process Safety Advisor who’s passionate about safety and driven by purpose to join our team and support our operational sites across the Central and South West regions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key safety processes, influence positive change, and be part of a forward-thinking HSSE team that’s committed to protecting people, assets, and the environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Process Safety Advisor, you’ll work closely with site teams, operational leaders, and regulators to embed robust process safety practices across our operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering and supporting our Process Safety Audit Programme
- Leading hazard identification studies (e.g. HAZOP, SWIFT, PHR)
- Providing coaching and guidance to site teams to drive safety awareness
- Supporting compliance with COMAH regulations and Calor standards
- Tracking safety performance through Process Safety Performance Indicators (PSPIs)
- Investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and driving improvements
- Engaging with regulators, HSSE committees, and engineering colleagues
- Contributing to the development of policies and safety systems
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
-
NEBOSH Certificate in Process Safety Management
-
City & Guilds or ideally HNC in Chemical, Mechanical or Production Engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of COMAH, hazard studies, and auditing safety systems

Up-to-date knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation
-
Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across all levels

Highly self-motivated and organised

Computer literate
Desirable:
-
NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety

Internal auditor qualification
-
Experience in the LPG or a similar regulated industry

Familiarity with human reliability studies
