We’re looking for a proactive and solutions-focused Customer Service Advisor – Transport Planning to join our Distribution team in Halifax. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to play a key role in ensuring our logistics operations run smoothly every day.
This role goes beyond route planning. You’ll be central to keeping our delivery promises, managing unexpected challenges in real time, and ensuring our customers receive outstanding service.
Working Hours

Winter period: Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00am – 3:00pm

Summer period: Monday to Friday

Occasional weekend cover may be required depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and optimise daily delivery schedules using logistics systems and digital tools.

Respond quickly to operational issues such as vehicle breakdowns, customer run-outs, or driver absences.

Adapt plans to maintain service levels and efficiency, while keeping customers informed.

Act as the main point of contact between customer service, planning, and distribution teams.

Monitor trip reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with strong attention to detail.

Produce clear shift reports and performance updates for senior stakeholders.

Support ongoing improvements in safety, data quality, and operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For

Excellent communicator – confident by phone, email, and face-to-face.

Calm under pressure with the ability to make fast, effective decisions.

Previous experience in a fast-paced, operational or logistics environment.

Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative and customer-first approach.
