Customer Service Advisor
Location: Grangemouth
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,185 – £27,000 (dependent on experience)

If so, Calor Gas has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to join our Customer Experience team in Grangemouth.

As a key point of contact for our valued customers, you'll play a vital role in delivering a first-class experience — resolving enquiries, supporting with orders, and building strong customer relationships through both phone and written communications.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Responding to inbound and outbound customer calls, providing timely, professional support.

  • Accurately processing customer orders and maintaining account details.

  • Promoting Calor products and services to support business growth.

  • Investigating and resolving customer complaints in line with company procedures.

  • Meeting individual and team performance targets and service level standards.

  • Collaborating with colleagues across departments to deliver seamless customer service.

  • Suggesting and supporting improvements that enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Maintaining data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with service policies.

 

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-moving environment. You should have:

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, consultative approach.

  • A sense of ownership and pride in delivering high-quality work.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP (or similar systems).

  • Experience handling high volumes of customer interactions is desirable.

 

Shift Information

  • Operating hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 8:00pm (rotating early, mid, and late shifts)

  • Occasional Saturday shifts: 9:00am – 1:00pm

  • Bank Holiday hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm
    You’ll receive notice of your shift pattern in advance.
