Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (Dependent on experience)

About the Role:

 

As a Continuous Improvement Specialist at Calor, you will be at the forefront of driving transformative change and optimizing operational efficiency. Your role will be instrumental in supporting the deployment and management of our Total Productive Management (TPM) journey across UK Operations. From managing adherence to the Calor GB TPM Roadmap to fostering sustainable improvements in efficiency, productivity, safety, and quality, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future success of our organization.

 

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in operations and supply chain, with at least 5 years in managerial roles.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in driving transformational change using Lean Six Sigma, TPM, or a blend of these disciplines.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Proven experience in TPM Audits and Improvement routes.
  • Excellent ability to influence and motivate stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact effectively with senior managers and subject matter experts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable improvement plans.
  • Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Calor BU in implementing a sustainable TPM culture:
  • Foster a performance-driven culture focused on efficiency, productivity, safety, and quality.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gain buy-in and ensure sustainable execution.
  • Utilize Lean methods & tools:
  • Implement appropriate tools such as Lean Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, TPM, Kanban, Kaizen, and FMEA to drive transformational change.
  • Provide Coaching and Support:
  • Train and develop individuals and teams on TPM methods and tools.
  • Design development paths to empower teams to drive their improvement efforts.
  • Measure & Communicate Progress:
  • Conduct regular audits in line with TPM plans.
  • Maintain monthly Leading Lean KPI metrics & dashboard.
  • Develop strong cross-functional relations:
  • Establish trust and understanding to drive continuous improvements company-wide.
  • Collaborate with COMAH Site Managers to ensure timely delivery of TPM plans.
