HR Manager – 12 Month Maternity Cover
Tachbrook Park – Warwick

Hybrid working available

We have a rare opportunity for a strong, experienced and people-focused HR Manager to join us on a 12-month maternity cover contract. You’ll be the face of HR for our Head Office and Commercial functions, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, offering expert guidance, and ensuring our high standards in service are maintained.

This role is designed exclusively for an accomplished HR professional—someone who brings expertise and proven impact at a senior level. It demands the ability to influence confidently across all levels of the organisation and drive meaningful progress, all while consistently embodying our core values of trust, passion, integrity, inclusivity, and curiosity. This is not a developmental opportunity or an entry-level position.

This role operates in a hybrid pattern with a minimum of 2 days (preferably more) at our Tachbrook Park head office with occasional travel to operational sites, giving you the opportunity to be visible, present, and fully embedded within the business while enjoying flexibility the rest of the week.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead operational HR for our Head Office and Commercial functions, covering the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Partner with senior leaders including those on the management board to realise their functional people plans
  • Be a trusted escalation point of contact for employee relations queries, resolving challenges efficiently and compliantly.
  • Lead and support on HR change projects including restructures, organisational design, and cultural initiatives.
  • Use HR data and insights to shape decisions, measure and improve business performance.
  • Maintain compliance and governance across all HR practices, ensuring consistency and fairness.
  • Drive talent management, engagement, and development initiatives in line with our HR strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with central HR teams (CoEs) to deliver recruitment, learning & development, and talent initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • CIPD Level 7 (or QBE - Qualified by experience) with strong operational HR experience in a similar role
  • A proven track record in developing and implementing successful people plans
  • Skilled in employee relations, talent management, and engagement.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with proven experience of managing stakeholders at a senior level.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring others.

Why Join Us?

Even though this is a fixed-term contract, you’ll be welcomed, supported, and valued just like a permanent member of our team. We believe every colleague, no matter how long they’re with us deserves to feel part of our journey and empowered to make an impact.

What we can offer you:

  • A visible, influential role at the heart of our Head Office, where your work truly matters.
  • A supportive, collaborative environment that trusts you with the autonomy to make decisions and drive positive change.
  • Hybrid working
  • Company car or cash allowance.
  • Private Medical Insurance.
  • 25 days’ annual leave + 8 bank holidays.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme.
  • Life Assurance (4x salary).
  • Matched pension contributions (4.5%, rising to 7.5% after 2 years).
  • Retail discounts and more.
