About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and commercially driven National Account Executive to join our National Accounts Team within the Sales function at Calor.

In this key role, you’ll be responsible for developing and growing our LPG cylinder business with both existing and new national account customers. You’ll manage your own portfolio of accounts and support the National Account Manager in delivering sector growth, profitability, and customer excellence.

As a sector expert, you’ll develop a strong understanding of market dynamics, share insights with the wider business, and help shape strategies that maximise value across our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales growth by achieving agreed targets and budgets within your customer portfolio.

  • Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with customers at national, regional, and local levels.

  • Identify and engage with new business opportunities through proactive outreach and cold calling.

  • Monitor performance through CRM and reporting tools, taking corrective actions as required.

  • Keep abreast of market developments and competitor activity, providing regular feedback to the Commercial team.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes of practice for gas distribution and storage.

  • Support promotional campaigns, exhibitions, and sector-specific marketing initiatives.

  • Work collaboratively with operations and sales colleagues to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.

  • Represent Calor professionally at all times and uphold our values in every customer interaction.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a passion for customer relationships and a proven ability to deliver commercial results. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and be confident managing both strategic and day-to-day account activities.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in account management within a B2B or B2C environment.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (internal and external).

  • Commercially astute, with strong analytical and numerical ability.

  • Experience developing and implementing business plans to drive performance.

  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently.

Desirable:

  • Experience within the LPG or wider energy sector.
