Master Data Administrator

Location: Tachbrook Park, Warwick

Type: Permanent, Full-time, Hybrid

Salary: £25,000 - £31,000 (Dependent on experience)

 

About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Master Data Analyst to join our Business Evolution team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing Master Data, ensuring its accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all core business processes and systems. Your contributions will support the creation, updating, and deletion of data, maintaining high standards in line with agreed service levels. Key Responsibilities

  1. Data Management: Coordinate the setup and validation of master data with cross-functional departments, ensuring data quality and integrity are upheld.
  2. Data Maintenance: Execute approved changes to master data, including creation, modification, deletion, extension, and other updates as needed.
  3. Compliance: Maintain service levels and adhere to established procedures and policies.
  4. Data Quality: Assist in the ongoing and periodic maintenance of master data to ensure it remains compliant and of high quality.
  5. Data Cleansing: Conduct system data cleansing to remove old, unused, or duplicate entries, aligning with Calor’s data retention policies.
  6. Issue Resolution: Collaborate with business functions to resolve master data issues efficiently and effectively.
  7. Change Management: Support change requests related to master data in development systems.
  8. Risk Management: Identify and escalate issues or risks that could impact master data or business operations.
  9. Collaboration: Work closely with IT and business teams to align master data rules with application operations and requirements.

Key Skills & Requirements

Essential:

  • Proven experience in data entry and maintenance, with a preference for experience in managing master data.
  • A strong customer-focused approach with flexibility and a reputation for accuracy and insight.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to supporting team needs.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience working with ERP, CRM, or other business-critical systems.
  • Able to write in SQL (ABAP is desirable)
  • Understanding of data models and how build reports on how/what is wrong
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams and apply your experience to develop creative solutions to problems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Desirable:

  • Experience using ETL tools
  • Experience loading data on mass
  • Experience with Master Data Management (MDM).
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP.
  • A degree relevant to this field.
