HGV Technician
Location: Stanford-le-Hope (On-Site Workshop)
Salary: £48,180 per annum
Plus: London Weighting Allowance - £1,800

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as an HGV Technician
- City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, trailers, plant, and workshop equipment
- Skilled in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and follow H&S regulations
- Team player with strong communication and organisation skills
- HGV C+E licence (Class 1) and ADR preferred but not essential
- Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK and hold a valid full driving licence.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain, repair, and modify Calor’s fleet of vehicles and trailers
- Diagnose faults and provide technical solutions
- Ensure all work complies with strict Health & Safety standards
- Safely operate workshop tools and equipment
- Keep accurate records and documentation
- Deliver high-quality repairs independently and as part of a team
