At Calor, billing isn’t just about invoices — it’s a critical part of our customer experience. We’re looking for a detail-driven, analytical Billing Operations Analyst to help ensure every invoice we send is accurate, timely, and trusted.

The Impact You’ll Make

As a key member of our Billing Operations function, you’ll act as a business owner for our billing systems and processes. You’ll safeguard billing accuracy while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance the customer journey.

This isn’t just monitoring reports — it’s influencing how billing works.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Overseeing billing systems to ensure invoices are issued accurately and on time

  • Investigating discrepancies, identifying root causes, and partnering with IT to resolve system issues

  • Supporting Customer Service and Collections teams with billing queries, dispute resolution, and insight-led reporting

  • Monitoring and reporting on KPIs, highlighting risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement

  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and process optimisation

  • Creating and maintaining clear process documentation and training materials

  • Managing third-party suppliers to ensure strong service delivery and cost efficiency

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets

  • Advanced Excel/data capability (experience extracting and analysing database information)

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Confident troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to clearly explain technical or billing issues to non-technical stakeholders

  • Strong organisation and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

  • Experience in Billing Operations, Accounts Receivable, or financial operations

  • Experience using BI/reporting tools to generate insights

  • Understanding of billing controls, financial compliance, or regulatory standards
