At Calor, billing isn’t just about invoices — it’s a critical part of our customer experience. We’re looking for a detail-driven, analytical Billing Operations Analyst to help ensure every invoice we send is accurate, timely, and trusted.

The Impact You’ll Make
As a key member of our Billing Operations function, you’ll act as a business owner for our billing systems and processes. You’ll safeguard billing accuracy while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance the customer journey.

What You’ll Be Doing

Overseeing billing systems to ensure invoices are issued accurately and on time

Investigating discrepancies, identifying root causes, and partnering with IT to resolve system issues

Supporting Customer Service and Collections teams with billing queries, dispute resolution, and insight-led reporting

Monitoring and reporting on KPIs, highlighting risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement

Driving continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and process optimisation

Creating and maintaining clear process documentation and training materials

Managing third-party suppliers to ensure strong service delivery and cost efficiency
What We’re Looking For
Essential

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets

Advanced Excel/data capability (experience extracting and analysing database information)

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Confident troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to clearly explain technical or billing issues to non-technical stakeholders

Strong organisation and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
Desirable

Experience in Billing Operations, Accounts Receivable, or financial operations

Experience using BI/reporting tools to generate insights

Understanding of billing controls, financial compliance, or regulatory standards
